Jajangmyun –This is how you cook this Tantalizing Traditional Korean Chinese Dish

Jajangmyun- You might have heard about this dish in many Korean Chinese restaurants. But, have you tried preparing it at your home? Not yet? Well, now you can prepare this traditional Korean Chinese food at your home as well. And, here is your professional guide to cooking this awesome dish in no time:
Ja jang myun is a signature Korean Chinese dish. This dish is one of the luscious dishes out of all those Korean Chinese dishes available out there. In many areas of Korea, this dish is prepared for some special occasions like marriage, birthdays, and many big events. And now, you too can prepare it at home.
To make this dish at your place, things that you are going to need are:
Vegetable oil,
Pork belly or any marbled piece of pork, cut into small cubes,
1 cup Korean radish cut into cubes, 2 small diced onions,
1 zucchini cut into cubes,
2 small peeled and cut potatoes, ½ cup of Korean black beans paste,
3½ cups water, potato starch slurry, teaspoon sesame oil,
1 small seedless cucumber, cut into thin matchsticks for garnish,
Yellow pickled radish and some additional cut raw onion for serving


How to Prepare it?
Step One- It’s All about Pork and Veggies
Heat the oil in a pan. Stir-fry the pork until it is golden brown and crispy. Now, follow- high heat and minimal stirring! If there is a large amount of pork fat pooling in the pan, you can drain that off. Add the radish and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes, followed by the onion, zucchini, and potato. Stir-fry for another few minutes, until the potato is lucid. You could smell the amazing aroma of the dish.
Clear the center of the pan, add the Korean black bean paste, and let it fry for minimum 1minute. Now, add some water and stir everything together for few minutes. Oh, do you feel the mesmerizing dark side of the force now? Here is the beautifully thickened jajangmyun sauce that will play the main role to give a tantalizing texture to your dish.
Step two- Add the noodles
This is the perfect time to add Korean noodles to it. You either can make them by yourself or can easily find them in the freezer of Korean store. Alternatively, you can use any thick wheat noodles, even spaghetti. After few minutes, check if the potatoes are fully cooked. If it is fully cooked, add the potato starch slurry and stir until it is thick and glossy. Finish the cooking by adding sesame to give it a perfect finish. Your black sauce Jajangmyun is ready to serve in plates, with its mouthwatering taste.
Step Three- Serving Time
Serve with boiled noodles. Besides, you can garnish this dish with cucumber. To add a perfect taste, serve your black bean noodles with signature pickled radish and chopped onion.
